وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
"Dan di antara tanda-tanda (kebesaran)-Nya ialah Dia menciptakan pasangan-pasangan untukmu dari jenismu sendiri, agar kamu cenderung dan merasa tenteram kepadanya, dan Dia menjadikan di antaramu rasa kasih dan sayang. Sungguh, pada yang demikian itu benar-benar terdapat tanda-tanda (kebesaran Allah) bagi kaum yang berpikir."

Our Journey
Well, not to be cliché, but ‘The Three Meeting’ theory somehow relates to our story. & here’s how the tale goes.
It says, you’ll meet the same soul (who’ll eventually become your soulmate) three times in life, but never in the same way.
January 2023
First, when they’re just a face, background noise in the middle of your becoming. You brush past them, never knowing what they’ll mean one day.
(- & that’d be January 2023 for us; on the day we signed up for this job in Kuantan, Pahang, which eventually entwined us. He’s just one of the guys, of which she couldn’t care any less for. While she’s just one of the girls, of whom he didn’t even glanced at. More or less, merely a background noise for each other.)
2023 till Nov 2024
Second, when the spark is there but the timing is not. When you feel it, but life pulls you to the opposite direction. One of you isn’t ready — or maybe both.
( - now, that’d be all those moments between 2023 to November 2024, we supposed. It’s when we started to frequently saw each other in district courses, started noticing each other’s existence, but were both still engaged to something else in life. A hi-and-bye in those courses was more than an ‘enough’, still breathing distant air, let alone sharing the grooves of our lives; basically occupied & unaligned to fit any purposes on each other’s lives. Total opposites ways.)
And third, it says, when the dust is settled; when you’ve cracked and healed and softened in all the right places; when your heart doesn’t flinch at love anymore. This time, you don’t walk away, you don’t question it, you just know. It says, some souls are meant to find us more than once — not to test us, but to bring us together; when we’re finally able to stay.
( - well, here’s where the story of November 2024 starts. The meeting on an event that month marks the days of our growing feelings. No longer a hi-and-bye-only acquaintance by now! To which entails the engagement on 24th May 2025, honored by our darling families & closed ones. And thus, the wedding preparations bring us here!)
